Nastaran Akbari is an architect and founder of MAD Studio. She graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University in 2022 and developed her professional foundation through design-focused roles at architectural practices before establishing her own studio. Her work centers on creating meaningful architectural and product-driven experiences, where comfort, clarity, and human interaction play a central role. She approaches each project as a narrative process, aiming to design spaces and objects that remain intuitive, engaging, and memorable over time. Influenced by cultural heritage and architectural context, Nastaran integrates subtle references to identity and storytelling within her work. She is particularly drawn to complex design challenges that require thoughtful problem-solving and innovative structural thinking.
