Voice Print Book
Voice Print Book
Voice Print is a book about speech disfluencies, which are interruptions and irregularities in the way people speak. The book uses typographic scores, visual representations of speech patterns, to show that fluency exists on a spectrum rather than a simple binary. Accompanying the scores are essays that provide context for the reader. The essay spreads are printed in white on black ink, on glossy, opaque paper. The design of the essay spreads is intentionally structured and mechanical, contrasting with the fluid nature of the scores.
